Concerts in the Park

(American Fork, Utah) -The American Fork Arts Council will host the Concerts in the Park series this in year in the American Fork Amphitheater at Quail Cove every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. during the summer.

The Concerts in the Park series offers community members a great opportunity to listen to great music with friends and family and enjoy the outdoors free of charge. "We love putting on Concerts in the Park because it gives people the opportunity to enjoy music with their family and friends for free," said Gina Jones, the concert program director. "It is also a great opportunity for local and regional groups to showcase their talent."

The Concerts in the Park series started on the first Monday in June, but will run through the end of August.

The American Fork Amphitheater at Quail Cove is located at 851 E 700N in American Fork.

Schedule of concerts:

June 16 – Chris Woods and Joseph Felt. Wood’s plays new folk with an acoustic blend of folk, pop, jazz, Latin and country. Felt’s style of music is acoustic, punk, funk, reggae and folk.

June 23rd - Bryant Bunnell and Fire on the Mountain. Bunnell is a country singer songwriter while Fire on the Mountain plays bluegrass music and has several comedic routines.

June 30th - Joshua Creek – Creek plays a blend of country and inspirational music.

July 7th - Wasatch Winds and American Forks High school marching band.
July 14th - Paul Burnside Band with the Jake Hague Band as an opener. The Paul Burnside Band plays a wide variety of jazz standards to recent pop, rock, swing and Latin hits. The Jack Hague Band also plays pop and rock music.

July 21st - Midlife Crisis Band with Pals as an opener – The Midlife Crisis Band plays classics and oldies that are fun for the whole family. The Pals are a group of physically challenged youth that perform to entertain all.

July 28th - Sam Payne with Lyndsi Bromley as an opener – Sam Payne is a perennial favorite of audiences around the West with hit folk tunes such as Spinning Out, Gripping Yarns of Pirates, Hobbits, Spacemen and more. Bromley is a singer songwriter who plays the piano, violin and guitar.

Aug 4th - Celebration Young performers and Extreme Kids V.I.P – This is a singing and dancing performing group with 100 members ages six to 18.

Aug. 11th - Harold Newman and company.

Aug. 18th – Utah Premier Brass – The UPB is a high precision British Brass Band formed in 2000 by English born director, Alan Boyer and other local brass musicians.

Aug 25th - Pat Pimns Vocal Academy and Friends.
