Willie Holdman's New Book

For Immediate Release

After 15 years of patiently photographing Mt. Timpanogos and the surrounding area, Willie Holdman is finally releasing his greatest collection of photographs, in his book, “Timpanogos.”

Holdman, a native Utahan born in Lindon, spent his early life exploring the country taking photographs with his father for the National Geographic magazine.  His Utah landscape photography experiences began when he managed to slip out and photograph the rural areas of Utah while at Brigham Young University. He graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography.

"Timpanogos has been my second home,” Holdman said. “Tens of thousands of local people and thousands abroad call Timpanogos their mountain. After viewing the photographs, it's not hard to see why. This has been a dream of mine for many years. I have made countless excursions all over Timpanogos documenting its beauty. I am extremely pleased with the way it has come together.”

The book chronicles 15 years of patience, persistence, and long hours on the slopes of Mt. Timpanogos.  No manipulations or color enhancer filters were used as each season of the year comes alive in his book.

Copies of the book can be ordered from his website: http://willieholdman.com or by calling 801-796-6607.

A popular Utah landscape photographer, Holdman resides at the base of majestic Mt. Timpanogos in Lindon, Utah.
