A Boston Consulting Group survey reports that 17 percent of manufacturers are moving production back to the United States. This statistic displays a five percent increase in the past two years alone. The same increase occurred for executives of companies with $1 billion annual revenue streams who are more likely to search out US manufacturing facilities. The US is quickly outpacing China and Mexico as the most likely location of this manufacturing capacity. 2016 is likely to bring further changes.
